Australia's Foreign Affairs and Trade chief to visit Sri Lanka

ECONOMYEXT - Frances Adamson, Australia's Secretary for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade will visit Sri Lanka from August 31 to September 02, to participate in a regional forum and have talks with local officials.
She will take part in the second Indian Ocean Conference, where she will speak on rules-based order in the Indian Ocean region, the Australian High Commission (embassy) in Colombo said in a statement
Adamson will also meet senior Sri Lankan officials to "discuss strategic and security challenges confronting the Indian Ocean region, and the role of strong institutions and good governance," the statement said.
