PAPAL VISIT: Pope Francis saying mass in Colombo January 14

COLOMBO (EconomyNext) - Large crowds came to watch Pope Francis as he visited Sri Lanka and said mass in a beachfront in the capital Colombo.

He also canonized Joseph Vaz, a priest from Goa who came to the island in the 17th century to minister to Catholics after the Dutch banished all priests and closed Churches.
